Time goes on day by day Things change, they flow they grow and pass away But here I am roses in my hair There isn’t a place that can’t be filled with all my care How many times have I told you I’ll open up my arms My arms are always open to you Oh, how I know you’re needing needing to be heard Well this world needs you too Don’t be afraid Don’t be ashamed, no Love where you’ve been, where you’re going and where you stand today ‘Cuz time will go on and everything changes, changes, changes Let it in let it out let it be that way She said, how many times have I told you I’ll open up my arms My arms are always open to you Oh, how I know you’re needing needing to be heard Well this world needs you to Sing out (swelling grace, calm embrace, clear as her love) Sing out She said, how many times have I told you I’ll open up my arms My arms are always open to you Oh, how I know you’re needing needing to be heard Well this world needs you to sing out

Burnt Kisses 03:25
Open skies should clear this smell of smoke hovering or am I still standing too close to you? Your big blue eyes sometimes looking but often overlooking me I guess I could’ve taken my cue from you. Emptiness washed over me and carved out this little space that I label with your name. Deep long sighs from inside help me realize, I’m strangely relieved that you were way too cool for me anyway. Despite all this I know I’ll still miss your burnt kisses, and the taste of your cigarettes on my lips. Your chest rises and falls faster than mine. I felt so off beat. So many nights that I couldn’t fall asleep. Despite all this, I know I’ll still miss your burnt kisses

Your smile gets under my skin. You walk like the beat just dropped in turn this rainy afternoon to a bright sunny day September brought a change in my heart. Lord knows I should’ve felt it from the start. though I tried to resist it only made you persist Never let it run, never let it run out. Never let it run, never let it run out. Until the sun’s done burning, my love, my love, my love my love won’t run out. 70 miles too far away. I’d take a train but then I’d give myself away and I don’t want you knowing how I’m easily swayed. So silly me thinking I’m still winning this game. Never let it run, never let it run out. Never let it run, never let it run out. Until the sun’s done burning, my love, my love, my love my love won’t run out. Of all of the paths we could’ve taken, here we are face to face. May I be so bold to say I think we’re gonna make it If we just never let it run Never let it run, never let it run out. Never let it run, never let it run out. Until the sun’s done burning, my love, my love, my love my love won’t run out.

Blue Grey 02:52
Blue skies above me, But I can’t see a thing. Mississippi drags on slowly, Murky warm on my skin. Just how all of these tears, been clouding my sun, ever since you’ve been done. Grey skies are coming. But that don’t mean a thing for this grey and cold heart, ever since we fell apart, nothin’s been the same. Baby I can’t understand why you had to be a man and leave me. Got dirty river stains From the rusty banks Tears surroundin’ me Dark skies in view, I’m still thinkin' of you. What does one do when their lover is through? Blue skies above me but that don’t mean a thing. All I need is some rain to wash far away all these thoughts of you.

Little Hands 03:17
Konnani chisana tede (こんなに小さな手で) With such little hands Watashi no kokorowo (私の心を) my heart Tsukamaetanone (捕まえたね) you took Chisana kao (小さな顔) Such small faces Chisana koe (小さな声) such small voices Dakedo konnani ookina aiwa (たけどこんなに大きな愛は) But this kind of big love is…. Fushigidane (不思議だね)Isn’t it a mystery? Konnani ookina aiwa (こんなに大きな愛は) this kind of big love is…. Hajimete (初めて) a first for me. Hajimete (初めて) a first for me. Those little hands, those little faces, Watashino korowo marugoto tabetane (私の心を丸ごと食べたね) You ate my heart in one bite. Itsumademo sobade mimamoritai (何時までも側で見守りたい) I always want to watch over you Zutto sono kimochi de irukarane (ずっとその気持ちでいるからね) And I will always feel this way Izure ookikunattemo (何れは大きくなって) Eventually you’ll grow older Tomodachi de iyoune (も友達で居ようね) But let’s always remain friends Everyone knows I'm your captive. All that I have, I give to you. I give to you. Such little hands Such little faces Dakedo konnani ookina aiwa (たけどこんなに大きな愛は) But this kind of big love is…. Hajimete (初めて) a first for me.

Lullaby 02:57
Baby, put your head on my shoulder Don’t worry about growing older Don’t think about anything just for this moment Go on, close your eyes Baby let the wind take you there Listen to that cold winter air Warm you will keep if you hold onto me Listen to this sweet melody Even though the lights are all out The moon still shines above and all about You’re gently dozing Your eyelids are closing On this cold winter night On this cold, this cold winter night

about

This 7-song album is all about sharing the evolution of the heart through song. Compared to Lindee's first album, "Songs from Tokyo," this new collection of music embodies the more bold, dynamic and uplifting aspects of Lindee's voice and songwriting. Producer Enrique Gonzalez Muller played a critical role in bringing out the eccentricity of each song, resulting in a truly unique soundscape of audible color, flavor and texture. Lindee's motivation for recording this album lies in her desire to embrace this journey of life, and the people she meets along the way. She hopes that this music will nourish and bring happiness to all who listen.
